The Heart That Longs For The Secret Place

Prayer is a surge of the heart, it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy – Therese of Lisieux

The place of prayer cannot be over emphasized in the life of a believer. We often look unto God in prayers in times of difficulty which ought not to be. A preacher once said “prayer is to men what water is to fishes”. Prayer is the life force of a believer and so it is something we should do at all times no matter the situation. The heart that prays consistently always finds itself within the throne of heaven. A sincere prayer keeps our heart in check and in tune with the holy spirit.

“Men ought always to pray and not to faint” Luke 18:1

At this period if we faint then our strength is weak. Let’s continually lift up holy hands to God in prayer as we pilgrim through this earth.
