Connection By Blood And Fellowship

Family they say is everything.

The society happens to be a reflection of family life no wonder the bible says in the book of proverbs “train up a child in the way he should go and he will not depart from him”

As a godly woman how do you train up your children? How do you handle family issues?

“Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands” Proverbs 14:1

You are a representative of Christ here on earth and as such your actions and lifestyle should show forth Christ. There is a call to every Christian woman to raise up Christ like children not just godly children. Let the fruit of Christ be seen in your home and everyone around us.

The life of Eli and his children shows us the evil effect of child (ren) neglect and the resultant consequences. Our lifestyle goes a long way in influencing our children and those around us.

Family is also not only about our nuclear and extended members, it is not always about blood but about our respect for people close to us and how we impact on one another. This is why the scripture says “there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother”. We are one family under God.

The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.” – Richard Bach
